Our team was formed early 2008 by long-time lonewolves and newbies, now addicted in airsoft. The main purpose of forming Spearhead is to have a tight nit group to train and to attend events with, that will have the training and tactical advantage on the battlefield.

Members are from Quezon City, Caloocan, Valenzuela, Makati, Malolos Bulacan, San Juan, Fairview, Sta. Mesa & Tayuman from Manila.

Spearhead Team celebrated its 1st year anniversary last February 7, it was actually the first Sunday of February last year (2008) when the group first went out together and played.

Looking back, the group was only composed of 10 members with Albert Villarico leading our pack.

All of us showed up at "The Yard" in Muñoz, Q.C. waving our new AEGs and wearing just ordinary BDUs. Total excitement was there as we began shooting at each other! We all had great fun playing Airsoft that day. We really liked it so much we formed the "Spearhead Team".

Albert a.k.a. "Viper" with no dispute is our "Spearhead Father" who with his kind of leadership brought the team to more solid ties like our team now is not just an airsoft team, but more-like a family!

This is full metal SIG556, equipped with polymer forearm and collapsible the blow-back action of the real steel. buttstock, and the 7mm bearing gearbox with special designed bolt carrier system allows the rifle to simulate Comes with a standard 135 rounds SIG magazine but just like the RS, you can use her M4 magazines with no problem.

Parking is ample but REALLY muddy, so dont wash your car before going here, if your lucky, you get to park along the private road.all in all, the gamesite was ok, not as vegetated as a real jungle, but ample enough to get you through missions. The trees seem to make due for the heat on gamedays, i suggest playing here as early as you can.

Members' Dues/Team Fund

A spearhead team member has to pay the amount of 500pesos every month.
Breakdown:
400pesos is for his/her own playing fee on the gamesite for 4 games within the month.
100pesos goes to the team fund.

What is the Team Fund for?

- Team Fund is like a cooperative within and exclusive only for spearhead team members. A loan without interest!

Valid loans are to be used for airsoft related needs only.
(examples)
- no budget to buy his BB
- not enough budget for his gun repair
- no budget to replace a broken face mask

Payment of course should follow after the given time period agreed by the treasurer and the loaner.

Due to restrictions of using any official Philippine Army or PNP Uniforms, we have selected a new pattern with greyish moss green and black designs. This uniform is unique from existing uniforms worn by oher teams.

Currently we are 41 in our team (NCR), 22 in Ilocos Sur Chapter. Now we are looking for more serious players with some experience preferred (willing to share his/her special skills), but if you are a newbie, it is ok!

1st Spearheads Airsoft Tactical Team Speedball Tournament

GENERAL RULES

* Center flag format (Capture the Flag)
* 12-man: 7 minutes / game
* Maximum velocity of 450 fps (.2 BB’s)
* No time schedule will be given; teams will be called "on deck".
* All AIRSOFT GUNS will be tested for chrono prior to the game.
* Any player removing himself from the game due to AIRSOFT GUN malfunction will not be penalized but will be considered eliminated.
* A "truce" may be called by a marshal in the event of an injury or possible injury including loss of MASK.
* AIRSOFT GUNS may only be fired in the following designated areas: the playing field, chrono testing area, and the designated SHOOTING AREA for AIRSOFT GUN.
* MAG OUT rule is in effect outside of the playing field.
* At the chronograph, AIRSOFT GUN will be handed over to a marshal for chrono.
* Absolutely NO BLIND FIRING. Player/s will be called out in the game if ever there will be.
* ALCOHOLIC PRODUCTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Bringing in of such products will be confiscated.
* Players must place all trash in the garbage receptacles located throughout the tournament site.

GAME RULES

1. MARSHAL’S decision is final.
2. Eliminated players should place one hand on top of their head and exit the field quickly.
3. GUN HIT IS NOT A HIT, RICOCHET IS NOT A HIT, IN BETWEEN THE DRUMS NOT A HIT
4. Any player who assumes the posture of an eliminated player, or calls "hit" is automatically eliminated. NO EXCEPTIONS.
5. If a flag carrier is "HIT", he must drop the flag on where he was hit and exit the field.
6. No weapons of any kind are allowed inside the playing field other than AIRSOFT GUNS.
7. Any player who continues to play after being called "OUT" will be penalized.
8. Each player must go directly to his team’s "dead box" once eliminated and stay there until the game is over.
9. Eliminated players are not permitted to communicate with squad mates in any manner.
10. motorized mag is not allowed
11. Unlimited BB's/Mags (standard low cap./high cap.)
12. Grenade launcher/M203 is allowed.
13. Dead man's weapon/aeg & mags can be used by other players
14. Each player must make themselves and their equipment available for an inspection when deemed necessary and appropriate by any member of the organizational staff.
15. Secondary weapon is limited only to pistols and must be secured on a drop leg holster/vest attached.
16. DIY mask/shields of any kind are not permitted in the tournament.
17. No Metal BBs
18. No personal cameras or video recording equipment will be allowed inside the playing field during play except for authorized mediamen and tournament recorder. Any violation will result in an immediate and permanent removal from the field. No refunds will be issued.
19. Mediamen who wish to enter the playing field must coordinate with the organizers prior to the tournament.
20. Machine gun is not allowed

EQUIPMENT

1. No excessive padding. (Marshal's discretion.)
2. No tools of any type will be allowed on the field.
3. Radio Communication device is not allowed.
4. Shorts or pants are allowed.
5. Each player must make themselves and their equipment available for an inspection when deemed necessary and appropriate by any member of the organizational staff.
Penalties
1. Removal of mask / goggles inside the field. Once a player enters the playingfield, masks must be worn properly at all times. Failure to do so will incur a 50 point penalty for the team.
2. Obvious hit but still continues to play – 25 points deduction.
3. Arguing with a referee after a warning – 40 points deduction.
4. Foul Language - 25 points deduction
5. Unsportsmanlike conduct- 25 points deduction
6. MAG OUT RULE violation- 10 points deduction
7. Tools on the field- 20 points deduction
8. Leaving “Dead Box” before being called out -10 points deduction
9 Talking or playing on after eliminated -50 points deduction
11. Using metal BBs -10 points deduction
12. Blind firing – 10 points deduction
13. Players who fail to undergo or refuse to allow an inspection – 50 points deduction for the team

The tournament will have a maximum of 25 competing teams. First come first served basis. Special courtesy will be given to teams not from Ilocos Sur. These teams will be given priority for their effort in coming here to participate in the tournament.

Start of registry will be on September 18, 2008. Final day for confirmation will be on October 24, 2008
Payments can be made before or on the tournament date.
Tournament format will be divisional round robin with the winners in each division participating in a final double knockout system.
Each team will have a minimum of 12 players
Tents will be provided around the gamesite for the convenience of the participating teams. Electrical outlets will also be provided for charging batteries and cellphones. As there will only be a limited number of tents, priority will be given to teams not from Ilocos Sur.

One game per match-up on the double knockout system with the team from the winners bracket having a twice to beat advantage over the team from the losers bracket during the championship games.

A participating team is guaranteed atlest 4 games
Each division will have a total of 10 played games among the the participants under the division
